KHS CoolFlow

Maintain temperature sustainably and economically

KEMPER KHS CoolFlow is an innovative solution for reliably maintaining hygienically safe cold water temperatures, even under unfavourable conditions.

High ambient temperatures in buildings often lead to a hygienically unsafe temperature increase of the cold drinking water in a very short time. Risk factors include hidden heat sources, lack of air conditioning or the installation of cold and hot water pipes in the same shafts. In buildings with high heat loads, countermeasures such as temperature-controlled flushing processes are often not sufficiently effective or are economically restricted.

CoolFlow supplements the KHS hygiene system with components for active temperature maintenance in cold water installations. A cooler and special thermostatic balancing valves with an operating range of 15°C to 20°C are used in a cold water circulation system. This can ensure continual temperature maintenance at < 20°C. In combination with innovative Flow-Splitter technology, the circulation system can even be led up to the tapping points. CoolFlow is an alternative to temperature maintenance through flushing and will generally pay for itself within a few years.
